Probably I am paranoid but why do I get the feeling that this cluib has no intentions of moving forward. Whenever we get any where near progressing we fail at the last hurdle. Like the last two years of just missing out on playoffs and todays disaster. Go back to other play offs and its the same story. Barry Hearn is comfortable with where we are at and thats the way it will stay.

I agree , and I firmly believe that Elvis is alive and he was recruited by the Israelis to blow up the twin towers before orchestrating princess dianes death in paris.

To think that anyone is 'in' sport to not win is madness.
Of all the people, to think that Barry Hearn doesn't want to win is beyond belief.

Surely if we get promoted our profile rises and Hearn will have a better chance of finding a buyer. I do not believe for one minute that he didn't want us to win yesterday.

get over it lesbest. A disaster is 200 people in a plane crash and no bodies found not a football match and a terrific one at that.

It's absolute bollox that Hearn doesn't want Orient to succeed
First and foremost is the survival of the Club which he has maintained over all these years in charge
And because your a chairman it doesn't mean your legally bound to spend money on players etc
I'm happy that Leyton Orient still exists as a football club and long may it continue

Its only a football game after all. Secondly I applaud Barry Hearn for keeping us relatively solvent and healthy over the years but from his comments I would say he's not too bothered about the club progressing.Status Quo keeps him happy and I don't mean Rocking all over the world!!!!

When we scored Barry Hearn was jumping up and down like everybody else, of course he wanted to win, it's just that as he has been involved in various sports for many years he knows that some you win and some you don't and he knows how to be brash and a little carefree in front of the cameras, but don't think for a moment he didn't get home sit in his chair and say 'b.olloc.ks' just like the other 24,000 that went. I am over the bitter disappointment now, been to all three finals and watched us lose all three, think this was the most disappointing though because with just over half an hour left we were heading for the Championship and now instead of Fulham it's Fleetwood ! . I think we will be ok next season,of course we won't have the sort of start we had this campaign , but I am sure we will be up and featuring in the top six again next season, let's hope we can do a Brentford and not have to suffer the play offs next year.
