It's so desperately hard to take the disappointment of today, we really managed to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory.
Overall though I thought we played the more controlled football but didn't get the ball out wide enough where it was clear we were causing Rotherham problems, they in turn looked about as convincing going forward as they did unconvincing attempting to defend.
Two very evenly matched sides though and it was always going to be cruel on one team ,sadly it's us for the third time in a play off final. What we now have to do is brush ourselves down and try and emulate Brentford, lest we forget they missed a pen for promotion in their last league game last season and Doncaster went downfield and scored, they then lost the play offs but went up this year a better and stronger outfit, we must do the same, I hope somehow the prize money stretches to signing Jacopovic who I think would have seen us promoted had he not been forced to return to Hull, add to that the right couple of outfield players and we will be a force to be reckoned with again next season, gutted tonight but proud of a really good season, 86 bloody points and still not automatically promoted , typical really, never mind.
