Obviously Forest Green see something in Norwich’s Omotoye that we couldn’t see when he was with us Most thought he was a dud. Good luck to him though with his new club. www.bbc.com/sport/football/64380246

I noticed this too.
I think Forest Green may be clutching at straws.

Did FGR lose the core of their side in the summer? If so, that's kinda strange for a newly promoted club.

To me the manager like any organisation is a big factor. Biggest in fact. You don’t recruit right you lose. From the top teams In The league to the Sunday league teams you can see it happen all the time. Rob edwards left and the new manager for whatever reason just can’t get the team going. If the chairman stuck with the new guy for a few windows you might see an improvement but they have obviously thrown the dice to see if a new guy will work out

Just got rid of the "new guy" big Dunc. Didn't work out then? With one win in 18 matches maybe not surprising. As the BBC man reported "There's a month to go before the season starts and although recruitment needs to be completed, whoever comes in will inherit a squad that isn't theirs." The 51-year-old had signed a five-year contract with the Gloucestershire side.
