When I worked the bookies I once did an elaborate gag about a long way to tipperary by putting the Irish form right at the end near the door, my area manager didn't laugh but I did and that is what matters

I did my stints at private bookies round manchester mainly Winbet who were bought by Fred Dones and Lewisbet, 6 years all told hated the hours loved the cheap merchandise I did well with extras and stuff. Good money. Good old boys did well having a good few hours lunch time and enjoying life. Along came some bitch what sucked her way to the top. sacked all of us instantly. She is on my list don't worry.

I visit friends up there most school holidays....it was going up there as a day trip for the match without seeing them that was odd I guess its the water tasting how I'm used too, been on Thames Water's brew all my life.

On special occasions I brew tea in a china tea pot with loose leaf tea, use a strainer, tea cosy, cups with saucers the works. My grandma had sugar cubes with tongs but not done that so far. We know how to live in East London.
