I can't see the point of having squad players if all we are going to do is use them only when there is an injury.They should get as much match time as possible now so that they are ready to play at any time and of course gives those fringe players hope of making it into the first team regularly instead of kicking there heels on the bench week after week. I am not advocating all the bench warmers start but some surely must.Come on you Os and good luck Marvin.

With such a small squad, it's pretty much a done deal that the nearly players see as much action as possible. The chance of a big money draw in a future round applies pressure to do exactly the opposite.

Southend showed last year how much money can be made by playing in a cup final at wembley and after the money that Hearn has spent on the court casein sure he has given strict instructions to slade to get far in the cups

He played well for fifteen minutes on Saturday. Seemed as strong as an Ox.

Looked ok to me also , if we get something Saturday perhaps the papers might give us a bigger write up .
