I've liked Jones at Orient, liked the effect he has on our defenders but agree transition time is when carefully phrased respectful phrases NORMALLY come out so that both new and previous club feel that due regard is given.
For all I've read tonight Jones either holds us in very low esteem or he has been niaive enough to let this statement be drafted for him without applying his brain to it.
He doesn't come out of it well either way.
Yes, the PNE fans sang continuously.... is he suggesting THAT was his price?

For his delusions of grandeur and disdain towards Orient I hope he fails miserably which is inevitable anyway with his commanding presence of zero and his propensity to get injured

Jones has fond memories when reflecting on playing against the current crop of North End players and the Liverpudlian can’t wait to get started with his new teammates, goalkeeping coach and with featuring regularly at Deepdale.

I really rated Jones and didn't want him to leave.
But there does seem to be a lack of respect to Orient.
He always came account as a nice bloke so I hope this isn't the case and it is just the way the article had been written.
