Personally I cant see what all the fuss is about.England are not very good,in fact probably average as international teams go.This isn't a new thing though,we haven't been good for a long time.The last time England showed any passion playing for their country was way back in Butcher's time and the euro's in 96.It's about time people got it into their heads that as far as our players go the FA and FL and their managements have to tow the Premiership line and follow their wallets.Money talks louder than passion I,m afraid. |

www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/p02191f7Perhaps things will change when as Joey Barton says, when the financial ice age finally hits the Premier League. Once it's collapsed it can start over, hopefully as a much better football orientated model. But then i'm hopelessly optimistic.
