Don't worry, MungO is pretty hot on moderating the idiots.
Also there is an Unoffical one set up by RichmondO that everyone there is joining which is basically the same as the old one so nothing will change.

According to the Inmates over there, several `unofficial` boards are being set up with each telling anyone who will listen how good they are.
On the down side this Board is being touted for people to join.
I think we may suss out the loonies after a few posts.

The past week has been a significant one for Orient with potential new owners, our star player being sold and other possible departures. During that period this board gained 5 new members. The other board, which you snear at, has started from scratch and now has 100+ more members. There is obviously a desire for Orient fans to have somewhere to have a vibrant debate (and a bit of fun and one or two arguments), unfortunately it ain't here.

I notice you report any ill feeling etc to the soon deceased main forum like a child in a playground You seem to forget that the main forum was closed because of a clique on there who's destiny it would seem was to have the forum closed down which they succeeded to do This forum was borne out of people's frustration with the main forum and yes it may not be the most vibrant place but at least we talk about the main thing that we are all interested in and that's Leyton Orient So the choice is yours come and put some positive posting on here or keep snooping and report all our goings on to the new forum elect Balls in your court |

The new board went down last night and there was a fair bit of snearing going on on this forum and on the official board, hence my original post here. As a result of being told to sod off by you I posted my original message here on the new board prefaced by a couple of sentences. They were "There was some wonderful school playground baiting from the other board last night on finding that this board had experienced it's first hiccup. As a member of that board (I joined last week) I have just posted this (hopefully not too school playgroundy) comment:" I have no history with the main board. I joined a month ago and have enjoyed posting, have had one or two arguments and discovered that there are a handful of idiots on there as there are everywhere in life. I joined your board as soon as I found out the official board was closing. I will be honest, it is a bit quiet and I have only posted once before. I suspect the official board is being closed down at this time because of the developments around the possible takeover and not because what is being posted is overly offensive. I'm sure there is room for more than one forum and joint memberships as well as ribbing between board members. I reside in Liverpool and both forums help me keep in touch with what is going on in Leyton, where I lived for 10 years, a while ago. So in answer to your question, I will post more often on the other board and occasionally on this board. |
