We have had a fair few wind up merchants come on here from the old board telling us how rubbish we all are and the Moderator of this board didn't let the biggest wind up merchants on the old board join here when it was down so they were saying really nasty things about this board over there which is why we can be a touchy.

Strange times. I do feel like the forum type Internet thing is past its sell by date.
But it doesn't mean I don't like them or use them. Just gotta find one which suits your pace. That's why I like this forum, pretty quiet but mostly about Orient.

I have to say if you want to to go into deep arguments and eventually into dislike for your fellow boarders this is not the place for that.,98% of the boarders here are very friendly and have become characters to the rest of us and some good reading has come out of it.Long may it continue. |

Independent Board could close sooner than anticipated if the lawyers come knocking. Todays thread leytonorientforum.co.uk/topic232.html: " Becchetti convicted of fraud and counterfeiting ?" Not true and not sure a question mark will get them off libel laws in making such a false statement. Earlier today 'Snowman's' Thread : leytonorientforum.co.uk/topic228.html " Found that if you google his name and look at the very bottom of the page, some results (MAY) have been removed over the privacy laws that google now enforces". But he omitted the word MAY and then goes on to state that Becchetti, or his representative has removed some details!! This statement from Google is on every european web search page not just Francesco Becchetti. Good job they have a Moderator on the job (He will be one of those appearing in Court) |
