I'm not sure that "Triallist" in the 1st hour against was Bobby Duncan but a number of people think it was. I decided to poke around the interwebby to see what he's been up to....
Born 2001 in Liverpool.
Played for a few local boys and youth teams.
2020-2011 he got a place at Wigan's youth academy and shone!
Man City thought he was worth chasing and signed him from Wigan to their own youth setup where he played from 2011 to 2017.
He is reported to have considered himself to be ready for 1st team selection, Man City didn't. He left Man City whilst still under contract and was out of football for a complete season.
Liverpool took him and tried to get him back on track but he thought he was being held back because Mane and Salah were in front of him and wanted out. His agent claimed Duncan had been "mentally bullied" at Liverpool so, generally, his time there was over. The agent was subsequently banned.
From Liverpool he went to Fiorentina in 2019 where he clashed with the coaching staff in that he thought he should be in the first team, they didn't. He left in 2020.
From Fiorentina, in 2020, he joined Derby County (on a free I believe) but couldn't convince Wayne Rooney that he was either fit enough and, perhaps, good enough for first team football. He played a couple of bit parts for Derby but was never a part of their senior squad.
At the pre-season of 2021-2022, he went to Plymouth Argyle who tried to take him but a deal was not made with Derby so that fell through.
During 2022 he went to Spanish club Linense (I don't know either) but made only 5 appearances for them. That seems to have petered out and now, it seems, he finds himself as a triallist for Leyton Orient at a pre-season training camp in Spain.
May I say, if No 21 was Bob Duncan, then he looked well off the pace and was completely knackered with about 20 mins of his 60 still to play. Looks like a big risk for Richie to take but if anyone can rescue the fella.......
