He wasn't in Spain or in any of our friendlies so I'd imagine he'd be off somewhere. Good backup for us but I don't think he'd be happy with that at just turned 27.

Cobnor Wood is a decent left back and he did ok when on loan at Colchester, incidentally he played as a left wing-back for them ! Sure he will get another club to play for by the start of next season.............If push comes to shove, he always join the player exit and go off to play in Saudi Arabia !

Decent player but just didn’t fit into the RW style. Maybe a clash of personalities, who knows. But Hunt is better for us
Surprised if he played wing back. Attacking was not his strong point. Definitely good enough for league 2 and bags oh good experience.
Wish him well

Definitely good enough for league 2 and bags oh good experience. Wish him well Well he did play for Colchester in the left wingback role ( they played with the 3 at the back system similar to that used by KJ ) he also sometimes played the left wing role role at Bradford City.
Leyton Orient On 16 June 2021 it was announced that Wood would sign for Leyton Orient after the expiry of his contract with Bradford City.In August 2021 Wood was dropped from the Leyton Orient first team, ending a run of 83 consecutive league games.[25] He moved on loan to Colchester United in January 2023
'Playing style Primarily a left back, in January 2019 he began to be used further up the field (as a left winger, a position he had some experience of from earlier in his career. He made his first appearance of the 2019–20 season on the left of the front three and continued in a new attacking role for future games. In December 2019 he spoke out about being encouraged by manager Gary Bowyer to be more vocal on the pitch. In January 2020 he spoke about playing regularly.

He seemed ok going forward in a Joe Widdowson fashion but didn’t seem a natural to me. But a solid left back.

Wouldn’t at all be surprised to see him at Gillingham with the other rejects who did well in the Kenny era

Wouldn’t at all be surprised to see him at Gillingham with the other rejects who did well in the Kenny era Well being as he was dropped by Kenny when he hit on the 3 at the back formation and was replaced by Theo who then played the left wingback role.....I should imagine Gillingham is the last club he would be wanting to go to. Surprised he has not signed for Colchester ?

I personally thought he was a good solid left back. I hope he does well there.

I think he is better than Tranmere unless he has a long term injury that he is managing.

I liked Connor, and could not see why two manager ( KJ & RW), didnt fancy him.
As a defender, he was at least as good as Rob Hunt IMO, if not better.
Maybe 'things' went on behind closed doors we have no idea about
