Not sure how to feel about this, certainly didnt think it would get this far! Couldnt see Slade sticking around if it happens anyway.

Barry has always said that if someone can take over the club and take it to a higher level he would listen, I think we should trust him on this important decision he has to make for our club future.

His relationship with Hearn is one of the main reasons he's with us, and like Watford, Charlton etc...a lot of these new owners bring in their own man to take charge. I love Russ, but he just doesnt strike me as the sort of bloke working under that type of chairman, hope I'm wrong though.

Slade would go before he was pushed under the new owner who would bring in some Italian from Serie B or C or something. Not necessarily a bad thing as long as he spoke a bit of English - either that or just have all Italian players.

What more do we know about this Italian entrepreneur despite that he earns money by sending toxic waste to Albania?

I just don't get why you would want to buy Orient if you are not a fan.

Because you can probably buy us lock, stock and barrel for circa £15-20m and take them to the championship.
To buy a London based Championship club would cost you upwards of £50m and you'd be buying shed loads of debt too.
Sort of like Bournemouth have been bought by Russians and moved up.
I'm still well dubious of it all.
I reiterate, I like Barry.
