He always seemed to come across quite well whilst he was with us. I guess someone’s public face is rarely the same as their private one. We are fortunate that we hide behind the keyboard.But here all the members have a common purpose in wanting success for Leyton Orient. If I told you all that I was the ugliest (in looks) fan of Leyton Orient would you believe me. Ugliness or otherwise is in the eyes of the beholder, it's what's on the inside that counts, so I think you're alright on that score. |

The answer was of course Hainault,he was taking the micky at the way we spoke,a great form teacher and the goodbye at the end of my schooldays was a very sad occasion for me Worked in schools a lot in later life and always reffered to the teachers as sir and miss. |

I know the feeling of such desperation. Imagine for a second the desperation felt by Macklin. A seemingly very decent person who for reasons we don’t know found himself in a situation whereby he acted the way that he did. Unlikely to be normal behaviour but behaviour brought on by circumstance and judged at face value. Perhaps by those more interested in quick action rather than any interest in his troubles. Who knows where it could have ended. Doesn’t bare thinking about. Icy cold water in Looe and a grieving family. There but for the grace of God goes us all. I wish him well. |
