It would've been job done really.
You can't blame him for wanting to move on as well, he's nearly 70!

I do not blame him I just wish he would remove this altruistic mirage that he has Orient's best interests at heart because it not true As his harshest critic he's done a lot for the club and I'd like to buy him a pint

So do I he has made no secret of the fact that if someone comes in who can take the club further then he will sell.

His son won't take over either - he's always on the radio moaning about what a thankless and profitless job running Orient is.

Hearn has long had critics including myself on some occasions. However, the fundamentals of the model he was trying to create for the O s, where the club invests relatively heavily in the youth set up and hopes that this will pay dividends down the line is hard to argue with. The results have been mixed as to my recollection only Weaver, Zak and now Moses have come through the youth ranks and been sold. In addition to this few youth team players have gone on to establish themselves as 1st team regulars. It might be that it takes a long time for this investment to bear fruit. I don t like the ground redevelopment but that s mainly because I don t see why a club Orient didn't keep some terracing. But all in all I think Hearn's done a good job. It s not easy keeping a lower division football afloat. I don't think anyone could argue with the fact that Hearn is an Orient fan and has genuine enthusiasm for the club. I'd rather have an O's fan running the club than someone looking to invest in an institution they have no connection with.

Well that looks like what your going to get, nurseslayer, like it or not.It looks like the models going to change. How does everyone feel about the fact we could be having quite a few Italians playing in our team?
