It was reported at the weekend that Mike Ashley is sniffing around. His helicopter was pictured in the car park whilst they had talks.

Reading got too big for their boots,it takes billionaires to own and run a Premier league team.Once out of the PL it can be a never ending spiral to the lower leagues. Make the most of the journey up because the journey down is awful not knowing where you are going to land.We have been through it and thankfully survived with the best of owners.I will settle for League 1 with the occasional sniff of promotion and a good cup run.We must not over spend and land ourselves in a financial mess.

A buyer will come in.
Fabulous stadium, gates of 12,000 despite their situation. Plenty of money out there. Southend survived endless winding up orders before they found a buyer. If they can attract a buyer then Reading certainly can. They will survive as a club but maybe not in League 1 this season.
Doing a Luton? They are back in the Premiership. Don’t know for how long but dropping down don’t mean the end of the line.

I've got tickets for the game at Reading in 2 weeks. Bit concerned now about this happening again then 😔

I have my tickets for this game too.
I'll go and if Reading decide to protest then we should support them in my opinion.
I won't take to the pitch, but I won't complain either if they try to get it pulled again.
It's criminal what happened to us and nothing has been put in place to stop it happening again*
*Though I have no idea what can be put in place to stop it happening again.

Wouldn’t surprise me if another game is called off for crowd trouble, that Reading would either have to play behind closed doors for a while, or a points deduction that will take them down. Tough times for their fans.

Yes it will be an inconvenience to us if they got the game abandoned, but we've been there, seen it and got the t-shirt with not knowing if today will be the last day of your football club. An inconvenient rearranged game we can deal with. Them losing their club they can't.

I'll be singing with them against their owners.

Really hope they make it. I think they will but maybe rebuilding from league 2. Come a long way since being a small club playing at Elm Park. The move to their new ground started a great era for the club including for our own Jobi McAnuff. Just shows how easy it is for it all to go wrong. A nice easy ground for me to get to and one I like. so if they survive in league 1 I’ll be happy.

Still alive I believe, they don't make them like him anymore. Bought the club off of Robert Maxwell according to reports and built up quite a club under his tenure.
