Drawn away to Chesterfield. Tough tie.

Hmm, not the best tie but not the worst. Will be tough but if Orient approach it professionally and with as much desire as Chesterfield will surely show can vanquish the Spiretes and claim that dream 3rd round tie at home to Liverpool

Drawn away to Chesterfield. Tough tie. Nah, they're non league. We're in the 3rd round.

I couldn't find them in the table at first. The last place I looked was at the very top, followed by DWWWW.
Maybe Pompey put out a weakened side, I don't know. We'll put out our strongest side so I can't really see us losing.
I don't suppose they'd put Chesterfield on the telly twice.

They have 14 out of 17 league games. Non league or not, that is impressive

Could have been worse. Away to Portsmouth for example. Chesterfield are a good NL team, as were we a few years ago. We’ve moved onwards and upwards since then. Them beating Portsmouth is a big plus, we don’t go to Fratton Park and there will be absolutely no complacency.
As draws go, if we want to be in the 3rd round draw then we need to negotiate difficult but winnable games.

Difficult game but if its on tv then we'll receive around 75k from tv rights plus probably a full house so should be a good bit of money for us

I only saw the last 25 minutes of the game. Pretty average. Thought Portsmouth were not particularly bothered. More effort than quality. Not sure how Portsmouth beat us by 4

Would they put Chesterfield on 2 rounds running. We never seem to feature where tv is concerned

It will surely be on TV and a chance to show the nation how good (or bad)we are .

I saw the whole match ! Chesterfield were very impressive throughout and throughly deserved to win. Portsmouth hardly got a look in, you would never have guessed that they were the L1 leaders and it was a well taken goal. Personally I don’t fancy our chances against them.

Terrible draw. Probably couldn't have pulled a bigger banana skin out the hat.
Chesterfield are practically a top league two team masquerading in the Conference because of other teams like Wrexham and Notts County beating them to it.

Wrexham will be on S4C. AFC Wimbledon v Ramsgate Aldershot Town v Stockport County Alfreton Town v Walsall Blackpool v Scarborough/Forest Green Rovers Bolton Wanderers v Harrogate Town Cambridge United v Fleetwood Town Chester/York City v Wigan Athletic Chesterfield v Leyton Orient Crewe Alexandra/Derby v Bristol Rovers Eastleigh v Reading Gillingham v Charlton/Cray Valley Paper Mills Maidstone United v Barrow Newport County v Barnet Notts County v Shrewsbury Town Oxford United v Slough Town/ Grimsby Peterborough/Salford v Doncaster/Accrington Stevenage v Port Vale/Burton Albion Sutton United v Barnsley/Horsham Wrexham v Yeovil Town Wycombe Wanderers v Morecambe

Sorry lads, not a chance Chesterfield v Orient will be chosen as the live TV match. For a start they just showed Chesterfield. Will be Eastleigh v Reading or maybe Derby County game or probably Wimbledon v Ramsgate

You’d think the tv bods would want to show upsets in the cup, so having a non league team at home would surely be their first choice. So Alfreton, Chester/York, Chesterfield, Eastleigh and Maidstone games would be my suggestions. If they televise one Friday, one Saturday and one Sunday, we’ve got a decent chance.
