Listened in today, as a rule I do not listen to the blusterings of Simon Jordan at this time. Found Martin O'Neil an enjoyable listen. More than a match for Jordan. Enjoyed his recalling of his playing days and management at the top flight. What I liked is that when he finished playing and wanted to manage he started out in non league with Grantham Town to learn his trade. Couldn't see Lampard or Gerrard taking that route.

Simon Jordan I do like, knows how to manipulate around difficult conversations. As a former football club owner knows the system very well.

Unfortunately I did happen to hear it but O’Neil managed to make himself look a bit silly in demanding as a manager he had to discipline his teams and wouldn’t stand for what some of the UTD players are doing to Ten Hague but then admitted to refuse playing a game for a certain Mr Clough because he thought he was playing so well he didn’t deserve to be dropped so just didn’t turn up !

Yes you are right, O'Neil was hypocritical there and also on his defence of Arteta but admitting if they won he wouldn't have said a thing

He went into "Old big heads" office and asked Cloughie why was he playing for second team, Cloughi's reply was "simply my son you're too good for the 3rd team". They don't make managers like that anymore, a one off that can't be repeated.
