Remember when dogs would walk the streets alone, always looking as if their journey had a purpose.Sometimes they would stop and have a nose over the front garden wall. Now it is owners with dogs who sometimes let them poop on the pavement,I have seen many a mountainous pile with some innocents trainer indent into said pile. Only an onanist would let a dog do such a thing.

Dog owners round our way seem to be more responsible than they used to be forty years ago and we have plenty of dog poo bins that are emptied everyday .

Has anyone noticed how they don't turn white anymore? 🤢 White dog poop in the 70's was very quick to disappear. The cause was commercial dog food that was rich in beef and bone meal which had a high calcium content. When calcium requirements were changed, the color, consistency and smell of dog waste was forever changed. That doesn't mean we never see white dog poop.

I find it really embarrassing when I have people round my house and my dog sniffs at their crotch. Especially as I have a Chihuahua and I have to lift him up.

I think dog owners are more responsible these days, dogs on leads and poo bags in pocket.

I was watching 'Life on Mars' the TV show the other night when they captured a criminal and brought him to the floor, inches from his nose was some white dog poo.
Sam (DCI Sam Tyler) said something like 'that brings me back'.
For those that don't know the show, Sam Tyler is a copper from the Greater Manchester Police, who travels back in time to 1973 after being involved in a road accident in 2006.
He believes he's in a coma in 2006 and is dreaming up 1973, or was he sent back for a reason. It's available on BBC iplayer.
Best rough description is it's a sci-fi version of The Sweeney with some good 70's tunes in it.
The Cortina GXL in it is really a 2000E with a GXL grill. The 2000E didn't come out until 1974, so that's why.

As the leaves are now falling off the trees you can see the bags of dogs poo that thoughtful dog owners threw into the trees, empty black bags were called witches drawers and those weighted black bags are not they.
