Anyone bothered to watch? Nothing sort of game unless we win by 3 goals, not holding my breath.
Good to see a few familiar names starting. Lack of class from both teams. But an ok watch.

So we get in a good position on the right and go backwards, then get in a good position on the left then go backwards. We then lose the ball and Pompey have a 3 on 2. Luckily they screwed the pass.
Now we get into a good position on the left two opportunities to cross yet the ball finds its way back into our half. Maybe the players don’t realise we need to win by a margin, against 10 men at that.
Wonderful stuff.

Not too impressed with Howes distribution. Given we have so much of the ball against 10 men we are not creating anything at all bar a few scraps. This Pompey team are mediocre.
Credit to Sweeney for getting into a scoring position. A bright spot in an otherwise poor game.

That’s the difference. We dick about in a very negative fashion. they get a chance just go for it. 1-0 to Pompey and hard to criticise the 10 men. Embarrassing.

In some sort of perverse way I’m enjoying the game. Maybe the lack of anything riding on it. I’m sure we will get a draw, maybe even a win. But a few kicks up the backside at half time
