Wonder what made the EFL decide to return to using yellow balls after they were axed after the 18/19 season.
Saying that it may well have helped considering it was abit gloomy in front of the north side of the west stand.

Never understood the use of the yellow ball in the dismal days of winter. The white ball stands out much better.I have noticed what maybe bird nets covering some of the flood lights on the West Stand.

I had a brand new yellow leather football, back garden grass only for that one. Plastic ones for the street.
Remember, the white balls in the past had no graphics except for the makers name so were much more whiter and brighter looking. I much prefer those ones.
We always had a brand new ball at every home match, can't say the same for some away matches.
On another note, my right arm can only reach the mouse but not the keyboard so I've summoned up the virtual keyboard and can now write with the right hand using the mouse.
I still wrote the first few lines of this left handed though, I forgot.
I didn't think of the virtual keyboard until yesterday.

Grass does take on a slight yellow hue in winter. If yellow balls are to be used why aren't the pitch markings yellow.

I noticed that 2 of the floodlights (next to each other) in that section were not working which made it dark over that side of the pitch.
