And to follow from this theme, I wonder if anyone knows as to how many corner kicks have the Os conceded this season and how many goals ( if any ? ) have been conceded by the Os following the corner kicks ?

I think since our “set piece coach”(hahaha) we have conceded 2 from corners…That I can think of anyway..Our corners are laughable..We may as well not bother have any..

Very good write up, well done, good information and presentation.
I'm not one for crowding out the box, rather more for attacking the ball as it comes in. The reason why i prefer this is most teams work on zonal defending which means they are defending space, this allows the oncoming players to attack the ball at speed which hopefully catches the zonal defence rigid and static. I know its not as simple as that as the defenders want to stop your tactics.
What I do see is we are a work in progress, we seem to have improved our defensive side of things from corners or set plays in the final third, but our offensive side still requires work to be done.

I have seen an improvement in both in recent matches, maybe the coaching is starting to work.So annoying that we do not have a tapper inner. The nearest is Shaq, takes up some good positions but is bullied off the ball.
