RW looking and sounding understandably glum after last nights poor performance. Quite surprised he appears to single out Dan Happe for criticism . Sure he had a bad game but Drinan, Pratley, Hunt and Sweeney - amongst others - were equally culpable on the night imho.🤔

This looks like the football version of voyage of the Demeter instead our players are blood sucking themselves to death.relegation back to division 2 will destroy Leyton Orient more than the Everton FC disaster drinan has his balls in his back pocketput them where they should be drinan or get out I've had a stroke and I could give the os 90minutesof moving around and producing a sweet smell of fudd all

Getting the impression that if he got offered a gig back closer to his roots he may take it at this stage. He gets linked with every job north of Enfield. He’s dealing with corporate execs at board level who ain’t easy to please and aren’t of his world. Calling out players post match is still a strategy with no linear outcome

I was hugely surprised he called out Happe the way he did. Is there some behind-the-scenes stuff going on as we approach the January window? Is Happe looking to move on? Was this a public Reminder that he ain’t good enough yet? Am I reading too much in this?
Happe had a really poor game, not really focussed for sure. But then so did others and he was not the worst. Equally bad maybe.
Saturday will be a good indication of how the players react. I hope positively.

The rumours about him being on his way in either January or at the end of the season were still plentiful in the LOSC yesterday.

He will only leave if the club receives an offer it likes. He's under contract for the next 18 months assuming we take up our one year option on him.

Left footer, tall, young, experienced. From memory did he delay in signing this season but only on the back of an injury that reduced his marketability? Can’t remember. However it’s not beyond the realms of possibility that a sensible release clause was inserted as a condition of signing. One that makes it easier and cheaper to move on. And one where RW may wish to avoid. All speculation of course. But I can really see him being an attractive proposition for a Championship club to take a punt and for him to not want an injury right now.

Or if you look North of the border at a Scottish Premeriership club wanting a good young prospect. The Posh did exactly that with an older player with Frankie Kent Posh sold him for what ever amount. It wouldn't be for peanuts either, if Barry Fry and the Posh Chairman had anything to do with it.

Personally I’d be sad if Happe moves on. But he has come a long way since that young kid started playing in the first team. But if he goes I’d wish him all the best. He has served the club very well and repaid any investment made by the club. Strange, maybe , that the comments about him were made at the same time about the bad news that Beckles will be out for a further 4 weeks but Thompson is back in training. Added to which Coopers Lon ends soon.
All in all leaves us vulnerable in the key CB positions.

Personally I’d be sad if Happe moves on. But he has come a long way since that young kid started playing in the first team. I would hope very much Happe does stay but - without trying to read too much into RW ‘s remarks last night - we have ample evidence that once Ritchie gets it into his head that a player is not for him, he is often moved on pretty quickly.🫤

We know from past experience that if you don’t fit Richie’s style, it’s goodnight Vienna and in all honesty that’s fair enough. He wants to build a squad that fits his style. He is the boss, his responsibility, his call. Same applies to any man-manager building a team. But I would be surprised if Happe is no longer wanted. He is an asset. Well to me he is but it’s not my call.
