If anyone wants to see the results of the latest Voyager missions the video on you tube is Primal Space,The latest news is that voyager has made contact with alien signals beyond our Solar system some 15 billion miles from their mother planet.. These space projects were launched weeks apart in 1977 and are the size of a Morris Minor using Plutonium 238 as the energy force. With equipment which today that would be called primitive. The designers and all involved in the Voyager project must have been born in the 20s 30s 40s and 50s.Huge credit to all concerned for the fantastic success of the mission.

They really are a marvel of engineering. They are due to stop transmitting by 2030, but of course those golden records they have on their shells will be out there for much longer as the voyagers keep traveling. We, or our descendants, shall see what kind of marvel those things will be.

I’ve been given a 1970’s telescope. I have absolutely no idea how to set it up but I’ll give it a go. It’s a Fullerscope (whatever that is). No relation to the brewery. Looking forward to seeing the Clangers on the moon.
