Sometime ago I had a long chat with our legend centre half of the 60's, Sid Bishop, he said our ex owner Harry Zussman was obsessed with pounds, shillings but gave the impression that the Club was his prime concern. You never know what really is going on in the minds of a football club owners. Hope Franco (cannot keep typing full name) is really ambitious for the club and not other reasons.

We all knew that Barry Hearn was getting a bit too old for the Orient so a change was bound to happen sooner or later.
I am apprehensive because the new chairman doesn't have Orient in his heart like so many others. He could walk away without any worries.
However, there are many other chairmen who have taken on a club and made them a success from mediocrity.
I think my glass is half full and that I hope he is going to be good for the club. Take them to the next level, which is merely a return to the level we were used to in the 60s to the 80s. Save for a few seasons in our current division.
So I am apprehensive but hopeful of a new dawn.

Nervous. Have no idea what this guys intentions are.
He could turn out to be a Cellino, which IMO would be a disaster for the club, or hopefully he will be more like Brentfords owner and have a longer term vision, where he backs the manager and has the good of the club at heart.

I do have a mix of emotions, and haven't decided if I like it or not. But I do have faith, if we can continue to fight at the top 6 and maybe qualify to the champ in 1-3 years I'm more than satisfied. Aiming for the Prem is just a shot in the blind.
