I made he most of every minute- whilst at Orient.
One of the greatest performances I have seen live was Charlton v Liverpool at the Valley and a young Kevin Lisbie was unplayable that day. He scored a hat trick and was on fire, Liverpool could not handle him, Gerrard, Owen and company. His third goal seemed like he ran the length of the pitch to score and checking it the bbc says 60 yards.
His time at the O’s he did indeed make the most of every minute as he was superb for us and that team remains for me my second favourite O’s team after the 78 team. That team nearly made it to the promised land, a place where I believe we belong and if Hearn had only given Slade a bit of dough to sign a forward when ours were injured or running on empty things might have been different for us rather than Brentford.
Seems like a good bloke too.

If we had him today we would be towards the top of the league.

Lisbie was a top class striker a real joy to watch.A good striker never really loses that eye for a goal and he brought the best out of Mooney

Had some great strikers in recent years, some of whom did better at other clubs though. Ollie Palmer, John Marquis, Alex Revell and Gary Hooper spring to mind. Hooper in particular was pretty meh while at Brisbane Rd but his career record is pretty incredible, scoring in all UK leagues and European competition
I always loved Gary Alexander though and Luke Steele because of Oxford
