I’m guessing that with Beccles and Happe back as the established pair, Turns and a fit again Thompson as back up, we don’t really need Cooper.

I think RW is convinced that Happe & Beckles are our two best central defenders and Turns can fill in adequately if injury/ suspension occurs. I would be most surprised if Coopers disciplinary record was anything more than a minor consideration and wouldn’t be altogether surprised if we look to sign him if Swansea felt he was surplus to requirements. |
