Did the commentator really say Agyei had a barren 2023 for the Os? Say you've done minimal research without saying you've done minimal research 🙄

Sadly, "extended" merely means showing loads of slomo replays of the normal highlights. Where was that slick opening move where Forde got through in the first minute.

Dan Agyei is the main man.strong, fast skilful.I hope he’s not injured as to the reason why he was taken off.Shaq is far from the finished article but he’ll get there…His rawness is obvious but a very well taken goal.

“It was a simple tap in for brown..” The second Os player I’ve known to score with his backside. The other being Scott houghton 😁

Agyei looks so strong. Makes a massive difference in that centre forward role. I don't think he was injured. Just looked knackered.

Rarely is our passing that incisive. If you'd told me we'd go on to play like that all game I'd have thought you were on a wind up.

Fabulous reverse pass by Sanders for Shaq's goal

The goals... and a few observations.
The first goal was straight out of the prem - top class long-ish pass from Brown (who was in space to support James who was blocked in) to Forde, Forde's great first touch pass to Sanders who was already on the move and made the pass possible, Forde went on the run to make the return pass possible and Sanders played it to perfection. Forde still had time to sell a dummy to the full-back and allowed the ball to run onto his left and then the coup-de-grace finish. Forde then went on the taunt the Pompey fans who rose as one in indignation. Love it.
Pompey star man Bishop, doing his duty protecting the near post at corners, missed his clearance header at the near post, kudos for Theo getting the cross spot in and for James who made the problems at the near post. That caused a loose ball on the 6 yard line and that's always going to be dangerous. Bravo to Happe who reacted to the loose ball first and got a shot away, Brown's backside did the rest.
It was the hapless Bishop again who, whilst protecting the near post to another Theo corner, noticed that Agyei had slowly ambled from the pack of players and not a single blue shirt had covered the move. Bishop launched himself from the near post but couldn't get there. In fairness to him, he shouldn't have needed to. His body language said it all as the O's boys celebrated in front of a funereal stand of home supporters.
