I really like him and he is getting better as time moves on. A really shrewd signing as well. How close he is to Boro's first team is not something I know, but surely we have to be in there trying if he isn't part of it going forwards. I'd even do another year's loan if it allows us to use our budget in other areas.

Brynn has been a very capable replacement and continues to improve. I really don’t think losing Vigoroux has been the issue that some people made it out to be.

Probably only second to Shaq in being our most improved player.His handling now is excellent.

Brynn has been a very capable replacement and continues to improve. I really don’t think losing Vigoroux has been the issue that some people made it out to be. At the start of the season it was a massive dropoff imo. Brynn was fine, but we were really spoilt with Vigs. People said Brynn would dominate his area better but I didn't see it. I wasn't able to watch so many games over November/December, but he's been very good in those I have seen. Definitely deals with crosses better, but I think Vigs is better at everything else. He was routinely pulling off unbelievable saves last season. Brynn is solid, I like him, but I don't remember too many saves that you wouldn't expect most keepers to make at this level. If we have a choice next season between Brynn or Vigs on loan, I wouldn't hesitate to take Vigs back. I suppose there would be the question of whether or not his form suffers after not playing for a season though. |

Can’t agree with you on this one I’m afraid but as there’s a strong possibility neither Brynn nor Vigoroux will be with us in the longer term they’ll be a chance to make more comparisons next season.😄 |
