For just 4 minutes and got an assist for the equaliser.
Should be a fair bit cheaper than last summer too. Wonder if that'll incentivise Hibs to hold onto him a little longer in the hopes of restoring some of his former value.
I do find the clamour for this particular signing a bit bemusing though tbh. He's only proven himself a reliable goalscorer at league 2 level, no?

With the asset that Agyei looks to be at number 9, do we need McKirdy? I'm thinking not and our limited funds could be used elsewhere.

Very pleased for the lad that he has got himself back to a point where he is fit enough to be considered for inclusion. I, for one, would be more than happy if he were to find himself in an O’s shirt. McKirdy and Agyei up front would be a stern test for any L1 defence on their day.

Was only thinking about McKirdy the other day and wondered whether he might be fit again.
Still have my doubts on his personality, but in the process I will trust if they think it's the way forward.
He would fit the bill of someone that plays out wide and chases everything.

Sounds a great option to me.

I'm a huge McKirdy fan, he seems to have everything except he's no target man.Given he's been through a life/career threatening episode, it's likely he'll be grabbing this second chance with some gusto. Get him in.

Providing he is fit and healthy I would love him here, he is a very skillful player who can turn a game.

I'd have McKirdy all day long. On a 6 month contract, with the option that if his fitness is up to scratch, we'd give him a 2 year contract in the summer

Shamefully I do not know of him.

Shamefully I do not know of him. No shame, if you haven't seen him then you wouldn't know him. When we played Swindon last season, he ran us ragged and we needed two people to keep him under control. Lucky for us, his team mates were nowhere near good enough.

I’ve seen a lot of him and he has the skills of Peter kitchen. Then he must be some player. What I would like is a player who can head the ball as good as the legendry Micky Bullock.

Nobody comes to mind since Mr Bullock.

You surely mean someone that could head a ball like Tommy Johnston. He could head one of those old heavy footballs harder than some could kick it.
