Reports The Sun newspaper has been banned from Bolton Wanderers after they published a demeaning headline about a fan who died during their last match.
Amazing anyone still reads that rag

If every newspaper, TV show, comedian, social media outlet and so on got banned because of some tasteless and insensitive comment we would live in a world without media., including social media. If individuals or group take offence at a particular story then as a free country they can boycott the publication. Understandable. Their right.
But to suggest the cancelling of something for everyone because it has caused offence somewhere is just not on. If people don’t like the sun then don’t buy it. But it’s wrong to impose that position on everyone else in any way. Or suggest there is something wrong when people who buy it.
Maybe view YouTube Ricky Gervais standup shows, some of that stuff really is tasteless. Thankfully we still, just, live in a free society. .
Just my opinion of course.
As an aside, look up bed-wetting. A term thrown about on here. In fact it is a serious health condition both physically and mentally. Slinging around that term could, for some, be offensive and very hurtful.

The Sun is a toxic rag but less toxic than the Mail, whose readers actually believe they are about to be subjected to a weather apocalypse brought about by Albanian transexual terrorists arriving on small boats. Theyre actually mental. Not biting on the bedwetting conversation.

I too have strong opinions about a couple of publications though do, on occasions, read them. But I don’t feel qualified to comment on their other readers. The bed-wetting comment simply highlights just how easy it is to put out comments that, for some, could be offensive, when I doubt very much if that’s the intention. But it is a risk. And toxic in my opinion.

I read press from all sides, even those I often disagree with. Its always good to get many sides and it helps you to form your own opinion - which is why Im right about most things, especially the Daily Mail and its ‘readers’. Ciao.

Kbola also didnt say the Sun should be cancelled as your reply could infer. I realise that. Just trying to balance out his amazement of the habits of others.

Never know from one day the next what rag I may buy, generally seduced by the front page. If you think that makes you right about most things, fair enough. This is where we differ. The more I read the more I accept just how limited the breadth of my knowledge is.
