Can anyone give me an explanation, doesn't matter how off the wall,as to why an Italian multi millionaire business man,with little connection to football,would want to buy a small club in the 3rd tier of English football with little income,ie;low attendances.What makes him want to do it.Any theory will do.

i would have thought he must have always had a intrest in football,but been busy putting his vast fortune together ,and with the kind of wealth he has he could i suppose have invested in most clubs ,perhaps he is the kind of person that wants to build from the ground up ,and if he brings success to the club that will be superb, and with success comes bigger atendances bigger turnovers. ive got a feeling hes gonna be good for the club, happy days, COYOS

Clearly he wanted a club in London, he has tried a few times to get a club so he's heart must be in it I guess orient was an attractive option cause of it's location and cost.

So will it be a "Man city" or perhaps Orient will do an MK Dons in order to progress or we might just roll along like we have for the past 15yrs. Perhaps we will do a Watford and end up as an Italian nursery club or a Monaco,where they don't need big crowds.Will we bring in expensive players or carry on with freebies. The good thing is not many have left. So what is your guess? |
