I wonder what’s happened at FGR? They were a club on an upward trajectory for years, then it’s all just fallen apart in the last two years for some reason.

Are you referring to Troy Deeney? Surely their problems go deeper than him if he’s only been there for 6 games?

Love hearing the thoughts of the managers but personal attacks are never healthy and usually scapegoating during a s***e run of form. Winced when Richie called out Dan Happe recently but it was during a bad spell and wasn’t too forensic more that he needs to “want it more” at this level. Deeney called out the ability of Dabo, his captain Dom Bernard for his handling of pressure, brought up Reece Brown who he’d dropped for being late to training, said Harvey Bunker was not good enough…. plus a few others mentioned. No credit it the bank for that. Joey Barton belittling Luke Thomas for being a boy not a man - he was gone within a week. Football is full of twats Not the brightest of things to say was it. First lesson I learned was to praise in public, bollock in private. Don't wash your dirty linin in public. |
