He was slaughtering the players after every game, I'm sure they made it clear they ain't having that, so he has to go. The dressing room must have been absolutely toxic under him.

I have had an irrational dislike of FGR ever since they did that huge publicity stunt of employing the first womens manager in football, announced to the world, and then quietly took it away.

Highly recommended listening to his final interview in full. Admire his honestly in a lot of ways but a little experience teaches you to keep things hidden behind the curtain… www.bbc.co.uk/sounds/play/p0h4wjbz

My dislike is irrational too long before that fiasco. Don’t know why. But they are a warning to many. Ran away with league 2 for the majority of the season, promoted, relegated and looking like relegation again.

Too honest about his opinion of the quality of some of our squad put together by the DoF and ruffled feathers. He lasted less time than this guy. But I agree. Honesty is the way to go in my opinion but alongside some tact. Not always what you say but how you say it. Tricky path sometimes.

If that's what they'd actually done then it would be quite a rational dislike, but they literally said she would be interim coach and that it wasn't a big deal.

My dislike of FGR goes back to their performance in beating us 4-2 at Brissie in 2019. All that holier-than-thou ethical stuff and then they sh*thoused their way through the game in their kits made of bamboo.
I just listed to Deeney's last interview however and regardless of whether he was right or wrong, if you're a manager you can't talk about staff like that and expect them to want to work for you. The club then has no choice because you can't sack all the players and keep the manager. Naive from Mr Deeney.

Love hearing the thoughts of the managers but personal attacks are never healthy and usually scapegoating during a s***e run of form. Winced when Richie called out Dan Happe recently but it was during a bad spell and wasn’t too forensic more that he needs to “want it more” at this level. Deeney called out the ability of Dabo, his captain Dom Bernard for his handling of pressure, brought up Reece Brown who he’d dropped for being late to training, said Harvey Bunker was not good enough…. plus a few others mentioned. No credit it the bank for that. Joey Barton belittling Luke Thomas for being a boy not a man - he was gone within a week. Football is full of twats

I think we all knew it was interim in the same way we knew it was a massive publicity stunt that did nothing for women in football. It was just to get a headline or two.

I think we all knew it was interim in the same way we knew it was a massive publicity stunt that did nothing for women in football. We knew she was interim because they literally said so when they announced it: "Hannah was the natural choice for us to be first team interim head coach - she's done a fantastic job leading our academy and is well aligned with the values of the club," club chairman Dale Vince said.

I’m aware. It was a publicity stunt.
