We are constantly losing out in midfield and I just don’t like playing sotirou and forde at the expense of a midfielder. I think we should take off sotirou and bring on pratley . Sweeney is being run ragged and I also thought he could have got a block in preventing the shot for the goal.
unfortunately I think he is having a poor game and was lucky when caught in possession earlier it didn’t result in a goal. Substitute James for him.
the way the game is going I will be happy with a draw.

James is not on his best form ,Sweeney has deserved his chance . From what I heard Sweeny keeps getting drawn out marking his man and Reading getting in behind him .Its up to RW to sort it out ! |

Well it’s good to know Richie is listening to me. He made the changes at half time and it made a difference, unfortunately we didn’t take 3 points. James made two last ditch block tackles.
I said in a previous post that sweeney lacks consistency and goes from star man to having a poor game and I was sorry that was the case today.

Has Sweeney been played solely because he had a good game against Bolton? James is a class above. James is not on his best form ,Sweeney has deserved his chance . From what I heard Sweeny keeps getting drawn out marking his man and Reading getting in behind him .Its up to RW to sort it out ! James even when not on his best form is still better than Sweeney. I have no idea of what team orders he may have been under today but his positioning seemed wrong. he did make a couple of decent tackles. But I was glad when he was substituted. Young, time to learn. That means game time. His time will come. |
