He's definitely injured. Whether it's for the rest of the season or not we can only speculate. I thought Richie said it was just for a couple of weeks, but he could've agitated it or picked up something else since then. I guess we'll find out for sure by Saturday latest.

Richie mentioned he had an issue which had kept him out of Saturday’s game. From memory he was hoping it would be no more than a week or so on the sidelines.
Player short of natch fitness trying to get up to speed, always a risk player can overdo it.

That’s the sad part as I thought he was a decent centre half and would have played a much bigger role if his injuries had not curtailed his appearances. Just listen to how Richie speaks of him as a player and as a person off the pitch and his praise is very high indeed, that tells you so much. Let’s hope he get an injury free run as he really deserves that. |
