Looking at it objectively I’m not sure how well our fans would be reacting if we had just signed an injury plagued 31 year old defender who had played 30 odd games in around four seasons! That said I do hope his luck turns now. He certainly is due a change of fortune.

Looking at it objectively I’m not sure how well our fans would be reacting if we had just signed an injury plagued 31 year old defender who had played 30 odd games in around four seasons! That said I do hope his luck turns now. He certainly is due a change of fortune. Not too sure the 31 is an issue. Plenty of miles on the clock at that age. But his injury record is a concern. But for 6 months their risk is small and if it works out I can see a 1 year extension. Hope so. He deserves some luck. |
