I wasn’t expecting much from transfer deadline day, and two premiership youth players on their first senior loan meets those expectations.
Hopefully they are more Shaq Forde now than Shaq Forde at the start of the season, but who knows. I’d assume they’re cheap at least.
Chances are we’ll be finishing mid table whether we’d signed anyone or not, so I’m not that unhappy really.

If either one of them succeed Ling will be a genius - if they fail nobody will remember them in six months time.

I'd like us to have signed McKirdy but presumably that's still possible next season if things work out.
As for these two, they are prolific scorers at their level and will certainly bring plenty of energy. With our current injury situation (rumoured or real) I'm sure one or both will figure pretty quickly in the first team. A major problem is that after Smith/Smyth we now have have Dan Agyei/Dan Adu-Adjei.

Like Ramrod says they are both prolific at their levels. Edwards scores goals for fun in the Premier league 2 7 in 10 and Adu the same in the team he plays in, 18 in 20.
Edwards has been at Arsenal since 5 years old so he will be well schooled in playing football, the last kid we got from Arsenal didn't do too bad!
Both look good sizes and if you look at them on the videos out there they know their stuff. I'm looking forwards to seeing these two and I've a good feeling about them.

When youth loanees arrive, they usually start with good form because of the better coaching they have had with the top clubs. How they use that depends on them and their attitude and change of staff.Sometimes we get a goodun, other times one ready for the FL.
