cheers Thor..Exactly as I saw it..Their player knew absolutely nothing about his goal..What it doesn’t show is Brynn’s f up that lead to the comedy of errors for that goal..Also doesn’t show Piggy’s dreadful misses!! |

Didn’t realise at the time just how unfortunate their first goal was. Nor what a poor attempt by Theo after 4 minutes. Moncur touch for the equaliser set up was superb .

What f up by Brynn? The f up was the poor attempted clearence straight at their player. That attack started with Brynn slicing a ball straight at their player. |

I really enjoyed yesterday's game and at times some of our attacking play and movement was great and it was really good to see Moncur playing well and in the first half yesterday he did

An easy game,I expected better from Carlisle.Never saw the missed opportunity to score at the end of the match due to others standing up.Went home feeling satisfied with the three points but not exhilarated as you do when we are hanging on to a 1-0 lead.Prefer the easy three points of course.
Moncur was excellent,would be great if he could be at the top of his fitness. Great effort from Shaq and a good awakening from Ruel.We have a lot of players who are very easy on the eye in possession,just need to toughen up a bit.
Get the stay up points,then prepare for next season checking to sign replacements for players who we would like to stay but move on.
I cannot really say any of our players could move up a league,just ready for a top League 1 club.Not being harsh,just as I see it.

Exactly right in that last sentence, though we are getting the momentum to become a fairly high club in this league. The key games have been the victories and the draws against the top clubs. I must admit that when we went one down I feared it was going to be one of those frustrating afternoons when Orient lose to low opposition at home; the early lucky goal, the spluttering midfield, the missed chances then their break down an empty pitch to make it 2-0. But I was wrong .... again! |

I see from the video that Shaq's first goal was clearly covered by the keeper until it grazed off the defender's head, he was already in mid air and so couldn't adjust his position.
Ruel's goal was very well taken but how did a league one defender give him a sight of goal? That's why Carlisle are doomed. That as well as the ball watching and leaving Shaq unmarked 5 yards out for another easy goal. I'll ignore how Brown got an unchallenged header from a corner.
Their first goal was just plain luck, the guy had no idea where the rebound would go.
I thought the penalty was unfortunate in that it was ball-to-hand but what was his arm doing so high? The ref had no choice.

I’ll be very happy with a top 10 finish. Very.
The issues happen when playoffs become a possibility, expectations rise accordingly. Can’t be helped. But if it don’t happen it’s still being a really good season.
