Very good episode lads, very open and honest. Now that Nigel is here this week his number one priority has got to be the new contract for RW. He is the person who is going to make all this happen on the football side of things.

Off the cuff remark by Nigel, but apparently Peterborough turned down a £3million offer for hector kyprianou. Wow!

Really positive interview. Nothing in Richie's post-match comments, unsurprisingly. Hearing them again, it's baffling that anyone thought there was! Hope we get to find out which club Nige has it out for soon 😅
The future's bright. The future's red and white.

He said everyone says things that afterwards wished they hadn’t, including him and Teague. Thats a reasonable thing to say and reduces the heat in the topic. But I agree with the future of the club. In good hands.

Good interview with NT. Its good he's looking for investment from rich people, because we're going to need it if we go into the Championship within the next 2 or three years. If we had Dan Agyei available, i think we'd have a good shout at play offs this season, but the gap seems a bit much without him

I didn't say he did say that. It was my reading of it, prior to the interview too. I think it's quite clear that Richie misspoke saying the club made a "mistake" letting Turns go on the last day of the transfer window -- that was Brighton's decision resulting from his own team picks. Anyone blaming Lingy for that needs to give their head a wobble. And having listened to his interview again afterwards, I'm not sure what else he said that was so controversial. I've no doubt you'll find something in it though 🤷

That's was quite widely known tbh. How is he worth £3million? Presumably Posh believe he’s worth in excess of £3m if they turned down the bid. Interesting interview by NT and good to hear that he confirmed the strong relationships between himself / Ling and Wellens are still intact.👍

Port Vale coming up is far more important as is our outside chance of the playoffs. And extending his contract. Of little more sadness were comments made about 1st time loanee players better suited to league 2 clubs. Hardly a warm welcome to young players experiencing 1st team squad participation, with the real possibility of playing, for the first time. I’ve little doubt Richie has personally dealt with that. Again we move on.

Thanks for the kind feedback everyone.
We hoped that Nigel's views would help calm and appease the fanbase who needed it and it seems to have done the job.
Thought Nigel came across vey well as always. We are in super safe hands with him and the board in control, it should never ever be taken for granted.

Had time to reflect on the interview. I like this new edgy Nigel.
Dropping a swear word here and there in public.

We couldn't really be in better hands.
Collectively we're all moving in the right direction. From fans, through the players, staff, manager, up to the board.
We won't get it right all the time and there will be occasions when we all act or say things (and I'm not talking about Richie in isolation here, but all of us) that are in keeping with the collective flow of things. But if that only happens 10% of the time, that means that 90% of the time we're generally all singing from the same hymn sheet.
