Am I the only one who doesn’t care about who we didn’t sign and want to focus on who we did? It's not so much the signing for me, but I really wanna know who's enraged Nige 😅 Although the kind of striker we made our main target could be interesting to know 🤷 |

I’d guess such conversations are routine and of course like all these things we only ever get one side of the story. The bit that is of interest to us fans. And the bit that diverts attention away from why he did the podcast in the first place. If it wasn’t for that would this story ever have emerged? Willing to bet he got as good as he gave, always two sides of any conversation and story as I see it. I still struggle with this whole story other than as a distraction. Maybe it’s just me. Probably. Cannot get excited by this stuff. |

This is a baffling statement considering a) your reaction to Richie's nothing comments the other day, and b) Nigel outright saying he lost his rag at whoever the chairman was and doubts he'll ever speak to him again in an interview that I know for a fact you listened to 🙄 |

None at all. In fact I went to great pains to explain, obviously not very well, that such comments even disagreements can be quite heathy. Seems they have led to procedure changes which is good. And probably commonplace in the Orient boardroom too. The issue was he chose to say them in public. Something his later video acknowledged was best avoided. Had NT named the person he had his discussion with that too would have been wrong. But he didn’t of course. Tact and diplomacy. There are protocols with such things. RW was indiscreet. NT was not. We move on. |

Richie didn't blame anyone by name either. Nigel could've just said a deal fell through, but chose to state that he's raging at some fella. Both equally expressed frustration with the transfer window in a comparative manner. Respectfully, you are talking out of your blowhole.

Wonder who the two young players were we signed on the last day. Tricky that. Or transfer issues etc. wonder who’s involved there? Gonna take time to work that out. Not. Now the CEO of another club. That is genuinely difficult to work out, probably never will. Sort of different don’t you think. 😂 Listen to what RW said, listen to his follow up. listen to NT. it’s all there. Both NT and RW manned up and worked hard to remedy a situation that could have festered. Restored or simply reiterated the strength of relationships. Respect, good management. Well done to them. Which is why us fans we too should let it go. I really believe you are just simply trying to stir trouble. Can’t be that dim surely. |

Everyone on this board knows you can't leave an argument alone without having the last word! 😁 I'll hold my hand up to being half-cut last night and my blowhole comment was out of order. I apologise for that. I specifically said he didn't blame anyone by name, so the two young lads are irrelevant, unless you're suggesting he thinks joining the club is their fault. The broader point is that both Richie and Nige have expressed some frustration with the transfer window when pressed. To my knowledge, only one of them has blamed a specific individual for that and it ain't Richie. Yet you seem to think his comments were completely unprofessional and Nigel's were just part of a "frank and meaningful discussion" between two businessmen. I can't get on board with that interpretation at all. We all know Richie ideally wanted another attacker and didn't get one, so the anti-Ling brigade would've had a moan regardless of Richie's comments. On the other hand, Nige hasn't just stirred the pot, he's put a new one on the boil! (And I'm here for it tbh 😅) A generous reading might be that he was intentionally redirecting the conversation. |
