Does anyone know the striker we tried to sign in the recent January transfer window? The non-signing incident in which led to NT not being happy with the other club.

Two rumours I’ve heard were Jack Marriott and Charlie Wyke. No and no. No idea who they are but I've just googled them and one is 29 and the other is 31. That isn't our strategy now. We sign potential with a lot of potential resale value. I'm not saying that it is McKirdy but at 26 and someone who clearly has talent but falls off the rails regularly, fits more in with our strategy than older players. |

Just more speculation for this speculative thread - Mo Eisa. Loaned from MK Dons to Exeter on 30 January. Allowing us 2 days to find, negotiate and sign the 2 young alternative loanees. Eisa would suit our playing style more than some of the previous names mentioned. Maybe we will never know for sure.

I have it on good authority that the experienced striker we were going to sign was within our budget now he's a little older shall we say. It was Kevin Keegan, he said I'll do it as I want to shake my perm down once more and league obe defences are doable even at my age!
