I'm shocked. Sierra could sell out a European tour by herself, Bryan could do likewise. However, here they are with Bela Fleck so I'm expecting an evolution of newgrass revival rather than anything Flatt & Scruggs.

One and the same MrB. My town is VARAŽDIN about an hour north of the Croatian capital of Zagreb. Hungary, Austria and Slovenia are all within 30 minutes of here. It's a beautiful place (think Devon but without the sea) but the language is impenetrable. "Fischer" it is but I have no German ancestry at all.

Fisch, please tell us how it goes if you don’t mind They are playing MerleFest this year and I would like to try to convince the family to go up. It’s so good for that community and some big Bluegrass acts come through, including Wagon Wheel’s own Old Crow Medicine Show. I’ve been listening to the My Bluegrass Heart album through the week. I bet they will be fantastic.

Will do SC. I played bluegrass guitar (as near as dammit) for 30 odd years in a BG/barn-dance band in and around London. I can't do it any more, the speed has gone but the modern players are inhumanly good.
If you follow this stuff, I went to a couple of flat-picking workshops, one in Italy, the other in Slovenia. They were run by Dan Crary but it was a struggle to keep up.
