And it ain’t good Theo Archibald scan reveals he’s out for up to 9 months Dan Happe missing for 8/10 weeks Tom James - groin injury - extent unknown Max Sanders - still not quite ready to return Joe Pigott - unavailable until March
🙁 - sobering news after a great win last night.

Add season long injuries to Graham and Agyei plus James and Sotiriou struggling with issues and it is clear that quoting injuries as a reason for poor results IS justified in this case.
Survival in EFL1 is now a major achievement and is to be applauded to the rafters.

After last night's result perhaps we have greater squad depth than some people think. Burton will be a test as they had no game last night. If we can do well on Saturday the squad players will have shown their mettle again. We have some top quality players missing and it is hard to replace them with the same quality but we seem to be coping so far. Since Dan A. got injured we have won three out of four games and scored goals too, well done to all. Up the O's.

A bigger question remains over their ability to do it over an extended period or indeed, remain injury free themselves!

Neither likely to appear for us again this season.🙁 If you watch the post match interview I posted with the injury updates you would know that Richie said the complete opposite of what you quote. Both will be back before the seasons end, if we have something to go for then they may play a part if not then they may not want to risk them. Do keep up old chap.

Thing is they may be available for the last 2/4 games but perhaps not match fit. The positives being if we by some miracle make the playoffs then their contribution could be crucial. But if we are in an end-of-season nothing to play for scenario, the most likely outcome, then I definitely wouldn’t rush them back. So for sure they may be available but neither are likely to appear for us again this season.

We are without Agyei, Graham, Archibald, Happe and possibly James and we are not panicking. That's a testament to the strength of our squad. In Ling We Trust.

No need for any panics with 48 points on the board and plenty of games to go. But it’s reasonable to assume that with less injuries we could and maybe should be in the playoff mix. I don’t think at any time this season we have fielded what I consider a weak team but all too often a weakened team. The players have done well.

Incidentally the third season in a row that Happe has had a lengthy injury. Hope he's not heading for Thompson-land.
