What has happened to them this season.I live near to the valley and some of my family support them. They are in real danger of going down their next 3 games are Portsmouth Derby and Bolton.Oh how they celebrated at their place on the opening day of the season after beating us 1-0.Their attendance are plummeting and they haven't won a game since November.Id like them to stay up as it's a great away day but i fear for them

Like most clubs they just need stability.

My eldest son supports them and after the first game I said to him if your team is a promotion favourite then we have nothing to fear as your team is poor.
They have the 2nd biggest budget in the league, their fans are going mental, they hate Andy Scott as all he has brought in is dross even the ones they have spent money on. A fans favorite Dobson player of the year 2 years ago and runner up last year was allegedly told by Scott I don't rate you, I will give you a £500 a week rise in year one and the same again in year 2 when Chuks Aneke is on £10k a week and Dobo was asking for £5k a week.
The fan base and the club are not aligned and the players are not even trying if you read their forums which I have been doing.
Like Mungo says they need stability and the 5 previous bad owners has now finally caught up with them.
Cheltenham had a great result and can see them climbing out if the bottom 4 Fleetwood had a good result last night.
The only good thing at Charlton is their manager who I do rate although their have been whispers about how he gets on or not with his players. Charlton are ideal big club to awaken Once more and if he can replicate his Luton success there the fans will carry him to the hills.

I dislike Charlton immensely, & would love them to go down. Their fans are so arrogant, they believe they have a right to be in the Championship or Premier League.
After the first match, who would have thought by mid Feb, we'd be 16 points above them.
I think theyll just stay safe and wont go down, but you never know in football

I heard the Charlton fans cussing Orient after the game on the walk to the station. They got above themselves giving Curbishley a hard time,That was their downfall.Swansea fans got carried away as well because they played two seasons of nice football and jeered the opponents if they dared kick the ball long.
