It is not my desire to start a thread re JS that turns into ridicule of the man and then others repeat all the negativity associated with his documented half time rant.
However, I watched one YouTube interview. Apart from his negative comments on Terry Howard which I considered rude and not consistent with how I and many others appreciated TH football ability and TH LOFC service I must say I have some empathy to JS inability to achieve a coaching position.
I understand his frustration and when he needed assistance there was no one in the football industry to assist him.
It is all too late now for him as a coach, but he did demonstrate verbally with reference to his football work ethic and comments re his badges he passed and how he produced notes for the FA to consider how they taught their coaches. This gave glimpses of his ability.
Life is unfair to some, and I note his own transparent comments of the flaws in his character, but none of us are perfect and I am convinced he received a raw deal in some ways and that upset me.

I can only speak as I find.
When I was 15 Frank Clark called me up to train with the first team in school holidays which was a great privilege for a boy of that age.
John was the person who looked after me the most, gave me advice, bits of information of how and what to do. Brought me in to the inner circle of the dressing room and made me feel ten feet tall. He made sure I was involved in everything, never left to the side and encouraged to be the best I could be.
I have never forgot how he was with me, how he treated me and how his peers held him in esteem as well. He was very funny and always at the centre of the banter.
It is a shame, but life is what it is. All I can say is John was good to me and that I something I Will never forget.
Everyone deserves a second chance.

Nice comment Thor, good to hear something nice about John Sitton. underrated in his ability, at the time of his management trying to resist the owner from sacking the existing players and bringing in cheaper options.
