Well that's put paid to our long odds play off chances, the hand of our DOF dumped a nice young centre half for us, well done ML

Funnily enough I felt that Turns would have been a difference yesterday. Much quicker and better passer than Beckles. Also likes to get forward during play. Seemed like a bag of enthusiasm. Felt sorry when he departed.

Turns is a Brighton player. If we'd refused to let him go back, Brighton would never lend to us again. The mistake was borrowing two strikers when we should have gone for a striker and a centre-back.

Far better for him now, he is now playing every week for Crewe and might get another promotion

Not sure if Turns would of been any better, from the few appearances he made in League 1,he looked abit lightweight and abit out of his depth.

ML doing a good job for our owners .

Both Brighton and he wanted a change as he wasn't getting enough game time, not a case of us saying no which we couldn't anyway, we could and should of begged Brighton to let us keep him on a promise of more game time

Turns returning to Brighton was always possible and maybe beyond our control. Same risk for any loan. The trick is contingency planning, something NT talks about quite a lot. We lost turns, we had no contingency. Leaving us thin. Since then Beckles had picked up a minor knock now Happe a more serious one. Two players for two positions is just shocking management. So we bring in two forwards.
I’d be interested in someone explaining the merits of that. Beats me. Then so did Barnsley and Burton.
Our chances of the playoffs are all but disappearing and we wonder why the players appear to lack motivation! The curse of the January window strikes again.
Let’s just get the points we need to guarantee League 1 survival, almost there. Done well. Then we can let the rest of the season drift into meaningless obscurity.
