Whilst that's a lot of money to lose, I wouldn't say that QPR have been run correctly for many many years and I'm sure a large part of that is connected with its own mismanagement.

I favour a slow build. I hope we bring in 3 or 4 players of quality in the close season that allow us to have a real go at a top 3 finish next season. Rome wasn't built and all that

Do we really want promotion.QPR lost over £ 20 million last season Whilst promotion carries a financial risk there are signifiant income benefits too. The key is sensible management. For sure we will never be able to compete with the big boys, but that’s no different in league 1, but with sensible financial control, good club management and realistic expectations Championship survival is possible in due course. The big issue is and will always be capacity. Severely limits match-day income. So for now it’s slowly does it. If by some chance we achieved it I for one would welcome it, even if the season was difficult. But what is life without ambition. Our owners achieved because they had that in bucketloads and I doubt that has changed. But combined with common sense, which they have too.

Do we really want promotion.QPR lost over £ 20 million last season Yes. No need to lose that much money. QPR is a financial basket case. They will lose even more if they go down.

Do we really want promotion.QPR lost over £ 20 million last season I think we’d lose a lot more money overall with relegation!😄

Yes the Championship is expensive but this will be offset by the Premier League and, eventually, UEFA income after multiple promotions and Champions League qualification

I think this season will be too early for us, as much as Richie might want it to happen. 4/5 decent signings in the summer and the tilt at a top two spot would be on. Investors with ambition to join the ride are more likely to be on board, so full steam ahead 24/25.

Get out. No you are right. A couple of early Ruel goals at home to Real and Orient can hold firm at the Bernabeau. Keep the faith

Rotherham have a Stadium capacity of around 12000 ish, when they were promoted to the Championship when they beat us in the Play offs they spent 3 consecutive seasons in the Championship before being relegated back to League One, since then they have yo yoed between League One and the championship on alternate Seasons, I would suggest that Rotherham are a similar sized club to ourselves and I don't recall them although I could be wrong I don't recall them ending up in any significant financial difficulties in recent years, if Rotherham can do it why can't we?

Even such a small increase in attendance can generate £1m extra over a season when looking at ticketing, catering and merchandise. Plus they don’t have London costs to put up with. That is a significant difference. The difference when looking at capacity, 12,000 vs 8,500 is massive in reality.

Get out. Shame Os will only be the second London club to win the European Cup. Doesn’t look like any of the noisy neighbours will do it.
