I thought Reading was the best ground I've been to in our division so far 🤔

I thought Reading was the best ground I've been to in our division so far 🤔 I second that. Comfortable, decent catering and amenities. Good view. And travel by train is a doddle, 15 minute pleasant walk from the station. One of the better grounds I’ve been to in a long time, let alone in our division. Looking forward to going there next season.

Agree. Nowhere better than Brisbane Road Emotional rather than rational judgement. Try the East stand. Facilities are a joke and the toilets a disgrace.

Always helpful and cheerful staff in the JE and the stand opposite. It's such a friendly ground. My friends, family and I really like Brisbane Road. The only other place we've been together to watch Orient recently was Charlton and we felt herded like cattle and had no chance of a tea or even a programme. But I can't comment on other grounds in this league.

If you go from the south, west stand to the east its like you have gone back in time to the 70s I like the 1970s feel For all its faults, I think there are no better places to watch football than the East stand. It is close to the pitch, the views from the front rows of the upper tier are excellent. It is about 100 yards from Coach & Horses and takes me no more than an hour to walk there or a short stroll from the underground. It is easy to get a beer pre-match, and there are TV screens to watch the midday game. As for the toilets, they could be better, but 90% of the time I don’t use them. In comparison to Gillingham and Charlton, it is far better. And at Arsenal, Wembley and the Olympic Stadium, you are so far away from the action, it is far less engaging. Only ground I like going to more is McGovern Park where London GAA play.

Dated, crap facilities, unable to cope with current numbers. and I get neck ache moving my head because the roof support blocks my view of the penalty area. Mrs doh and I make sure we use toilets outside the ground, like ASDA, as Orients are just not fit for people these days. Not talking about distance from the underground or any other external stuff. Just the in-ground match-day experience. It is poor. There is no other way to describe it. I went to Eastleigh a few weeks back, their facilities are far better than ours. Just the way it is. The East is just past its sell by date. But money and space prevents renovation. As for engaging. The only atmosphere generated in the East is from noisy away fans, and one bloke a few feet away from me who shouts all game, not in support of the players but to taunt the away fans.

South stand has a bit of atmosphere. East stand OK. West stand is like a morgue and North is too many kiddies

But in an overflow of emotions following promotion I foolishly talked Mrs doh in getting a season card too, her first one ever. But couldn’t get two together in the West other than either end and I like to be as central as possible. Couldn’t even get two together in the best bit in the West. So the East it was. Not familiar with seating over there so got two fairly central. Turned out to be a poor view of one penalty area. A mistake I have to live with. Though with rail disruption I’ve not made best use of the season cards. But We do spend too much money on football. often risk paying on the day at some away games. Not had a problem yet. Though have slummed it in the home end more than once. Don’t wear colours for away games.
