Nice blog.
Should we not be looking at refs and their decisions for yellow cards? Yellows now seem to be dished out for nothing challenges or slight misdeamors. Surely the card should warrant the action, yet yesterday there wasn't one bad challenge in the game, the worst one was Murphy kicking O'Neil which may or should have been a red card.
Are the dishing out of yellows spoiling the game or have the potential to spoil the game or are we heading towards a no contact sport?
Thoughts?

I do agree the game has "gone soft" compared to say even five years ago.
Yesterday apart though a lot of our yellow cards are so avoidable (Time wasting, kicking the ball away etc).
We mirror the manager in that respect.

Nice one HWO.
Despite 2006 I agree that it's not a nice ground and awful to get to.

Nice work and a good read 👍 Fantastic away support and a great afternoon’s entertainment. Can’t believe it was nearly 18 years ago since that epic game - I was there and have just dug out the DVD! Can’t remember much about the game other than the trouble afterwards and one of our fans celebrating in the centre circle and then getting punched by some OUFC thug who came charging out of the home end! Loved the ‘It’s happened again, it’s happened again, OUFC…’ chant 😂 Look forward to your further match reports, especially Wigan as it’s a bloody long way from Brisbane Rd and even further for me from Bournemouth! I managed to get to Pompey (bought tickets in the wrong end 🤦♂️ and watched in silence as we went 3-0 up and save a penalty - torture!), Reading and Oxford (managed to get tickets in the Orient end!). Hopefully, will get to a home game before the end of the season!! Up the Orient

Nearly fell off the treadmill!
