After watching the cup final yesterday and seeing all the "kids" play and win having come through their academy, Alex must deserve massive credit for what he's achieving and building there.
Maybe we could learn a thing or two from an ex O on the merits, setup and ability to drive so many quality players through their system.
I appreciate we are not a cat 1 academy and I also accept we are not a Liverpool. What I do think is you can always improve and you can always take learnings from others in business.
I get that we lose a number of players to Premier league clubs, but we can always do better. That's not a criticism either, but a drive and desire to be better.
Well done Alex.

More money and a big name is a great attraction for any wannabe. One never hears of those that fall by the wayside and give up on football altogether. Some get attracted to the lower leagues and rebuild from there, just the type of player that we suit better and given another chance make a good career out of football. Never thought Alex would enhance his career in the way he has,as you say, well done Alex.

I liked Alex Inglethorpe when he was a player here and I’m glad to see him doing so well in his post playing career.

I liked Alex as a player for us.
I don't know if he was, but he struck me as a very middle-class type of person. Which is extremely rare in football.

Ian Hendon blotted our copy book with Liverpool when he asked Alex for a loan youngster and cocked it up big time, to the point that Alex put out a statement in support of the player, before finally recalling him.

I liked Alex Inglethorpe when he was a player here and I’m glad to see him doing so well in his post playing career. One of those players that played with an upright pose, the late great Glenn Roeder was another.A lot of ex Orient players have made good after their football playing careers were over.

Can't remember wasn't a regular in 1st team, youngster yet to appear for them, a full back I believe. Hendon didn't really know how to play him and certainly peeed Alex off
